What’s Mobile: Disability, impairment and (im)mobility

Hannah Morgan, Lecturer in Sociology, discusses how disability studies relate with mobilities.

My research interests lie predominantly in the field of disability studies and include the self-organisation and citizenship of disabled people; independent living; welfare and service provision for adult service users; the self-organisation of disabled people and their organisations; disability policy at a UK and European level; and mobility and social capital.

This presentation was given during the event ‘CeMoRe Showcase and Lunch’.

Hannah Morgan is the Director of the Centre for Disability Research (CeDR). She organises the Lancaster Disability Studies Conference (6-8 September 2016). More details about the conference can be found here.
